Here is a summary about why the Boston Tea Party is important. The boston Tea Party took place in 1773 on May 10. The colonists from Massachusetts dressed themselves like mohawk indians, snuck onto the East India boat, and dumped all the tea into the ocean. Imagine this you are the colonists and you're dressed up as mohawk indians sneaking into a boat filled with tea. The boat came from the East India Company and you going to dump all the tea in the boat into the harbor at Boston. This is my summary about the Boston tea party. We will also have a paragraph about why it was important and compare and contrast.
opinion
The boston tea party was important because it was one of the events that led up to the American Revolution. one reason is, tea was the one item that the british have not removed tariffs when they repealed the townshend act. this is because the british government was the representative of that tea compan. to add onto that the british enforced to encounter the monopoly of tea.
Another reason why it’s important is because the government was corrupted to forcing the issue and landing tea. the important thing about this is the bostonians got tea.
To wrap it up the boston tea party was important.

The Boston Tea Party
During the boston tea party the british and the colonists had different viewpoints in this matter.
The colonists thought they were being taxed too much for their tea. In response to being taxed, when they had all their taxes they dumped it all into the ocean (9,000 pounds) Although the british had a different thought about the boston tea party. The british thought they needed the taxes to support the war. In response to the colonists not paying their taxes (rather dumping into the ocean) the british thought it was appropriate to raise the taxes in punishment to dumping the tea. The colonists were not happy to hear this.
